Summer Internship – Calera, AL

Lhoist is a major supplier of lime, limestone and clay products to the North American marketplace, with locations throughout the U.S. and in Canada. They have a strong presence in most industries, including: iron and steel, chemical production, water and flue gas treatment, agriculture, pulp & paper, glass, building materials and civil engineering.

This internship will provide an opportunity to work cross functionally with the sales team, enabling the intern to learn how to use Analysis, build reports, and learn how Analysis and SAP work hand in hand. Interested students should contact Hanna Brumbelow.

Fall Internship – Birmingham, AL

Internal Audit is seeking current undergraduate students with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Mathematics for a co-op position to test the adequacy and effectiveness of controls over financial reporting activities and learn about Internal Audit as a profession. This is a seasonal position supporting a critical business need. The assignment will begin in August and end in December. Qualified candidates will work a full- time schedule.

Selected candidates will be responsible for the validation and testing of Protective’s internal control environment to assist in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404 and NAIC’s Annual Financial Reporting Model Audit Rule. Other assignments may arise based on business needs.

Internship – Tuscaloosa, AL

ZF Chassis Systems is a Tier 1 supplier for Mercedes-Benz and the 5th largest automotive supplier in the world. Interested students must be enrolled in or have completed AC 310 to be eligible. The internship is continuous through semesters, including summers, and interns will work 15-20 hours per week during fall and spring semesters in accordance with their class schedule and 35 hours per week during the summer.
